For our client, a company that provides SaaS products related to sales, customer support, and other customer communications, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer.Your new role
Create and maintain data pipeline architecture and highly performant data stores.
Own the full release cycle from development to deployment
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using AWS ‘big data’ technologies.
Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.
Proactively contribute to improving our infrastructure, code, and processes
Work with stakeholders including the Engineering, Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
What you39ll need to succeed
A minimum of 5 years of practical experience as a backend software developer, including 1 or 2 years of hands on experience in data pipelines or big data environments
Experience working with relational databases, and with authoring and analyzing queries in SQL
Proficiency in a strongly typed programming language such as Java or Scala
Experience in building large highly scalable, distributed systems capable of managing substantial traffic.

Nice to have:
Experience with the Scala language.
Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or Redshift
